This position focuses particularly on projects related to Japanese and Taiwanese companies. By working on engagements involving Japanese clients, you will have the opportunity to develop cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills. Through diverse project experiences, you will rapidly build professional knowledge and strengthen your expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, data analysis, and problem solving. In addition, you may also have opportunities for business travel to Japan, expanding your global perspective.

Work You'll do

In this position, you will:

1. Participate in the audit of financial statements for Japanese and Taiwanese companies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit results
2. Analyze and review audit documentation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of both local and cross-border financial information
3. Support Japanese companies in auditing their financial reporting, transactions, and internal control processes, while gaining deeper insight into their business models
4. Apply data analysis to provide professional insights, help clients address challenges, and expand your international perspective through cross-border collaboration

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following background and qualities:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with fundamental knowledge in accounting and auditing (familiarity with GAAP is a plus)
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and team members
3. A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for continuous learning and taking on new challenges
4. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply data analysis to provide professional insights
5. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with interest in developing a global career
6. Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N3 or above, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients

Other requirements

1. Must have completed credits in introductory accounting and intermediate accounting (auditing courses are a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Internship experience at an accounting firm
2. Domestic or international CPA license
