About the Business

 

The Deloitte Japan Business Services team provides professional tax services to Japanese companies entering Taiwan, covering various aspects such as Business tax in Taiwan, international tax, Transfer Pricing, and more. At the same time, we collaborate with our Japanese members to offer seamless services between Japan and Taiwan

Work You'll do

1. Provide tax advisory services in domestic tax, international tax, and transfer pricing for Japanese-invested enterprises in Taiwan.
2. Work closely with Japanese member firms to deliver integrated cross-border tax solutions between Taiwan and Japan.
3. Handle bookkeeping and accounting matters, including document review, invoice processing, and accounting system data entry.
4. Support the preparation of financial and management reports, withholding tax compliance, and client communications.
5. Undertake ad hoc projects and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Japanese Studies, or a related field.
2. Basic proficiency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to conduct basic business communication and read professional documents.
3. At least 1 year of audit-related experience in an accounting firm is preferred; candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply.
4. Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with tax regulations, accounting standards, and relevant laws.
5. Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office applications, with basic data processing and analytical skills.
