Work You'll do

[About GCMG]
Taiwan Global Capital Markets Group (GCMG) is a close-netted group of professionals who collaborates closely with U.S. National Office to serve Taiwan firm’s A&A practice to ensure audit quality and risk management on PCAOB audits and cross-border transactions. The services GCMG delivers include the following key areas:
• Technical reviews on filing documents with the U.S. SEC by Foreign Private Issuer (FPI) and non-FPI clients
• Support coordination with oversea offices and review of registration statements on cross-border transactions (e.g., global depository receipts, bond issuances on Singapore or Luxembourg exchanges)
• Review of U.S. GAAP financial statements
• Monitoring compliance with PCAOB requirements (e.g., PCAOB audit accreditation, mandatory rotation, Form 2/3/AP filings, etc.)
• Develop and deliver trainings to audit professionals on PCAOB audits
• Coach FPI engagement teams on audit documentation matters

 

[Role and Responsibilities]

• Assist in liaising with cross-departmental units within the firm and prepare the forms required for submission by the firm according to U.S. PCAOB requirements.
• Collaborate with QRM colleagues to review the qualifications and certifications that accountants and professionals involved in cases related to U.S. SEC clients, subsidiaries or branches of U.S. SEC clients, or clients preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, need to obtain.
• Assist in reviewing relevant submission forms or documents.
• Assist with matters related to the firm's quality management system.

Requirements

Work Experience

  • 2+ years

 

Language Requirements

  • English (Listening: Proficient, Speaking: Proficient, Reading: Proficient, Writing: Proficient)

 

Other Requirements

  • 2 years of PCAOB audit-related experience
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong English reading and writing skills
