What to expect:

Deloitte Seeds Program is a 6-month internship program designed to recruit high-potential talents majoring in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, Environmental Science, Social Science or a related discipline. The program aims to develop young generation into future leaders for critical positions within Deloitte Taiwan.

Deloitte interns don't sit on the sidelines; they gain real-world experience tackling challenges and driving meaningful outcomes. This program offers a rich blend of learning and development opportunities, mentorship, networking events, and professional growth.

ACTUARIAL & INSURANCE STREAM:

Deloitte’s Actuarial and Insurance Solutions (AIS) practice has a proven track record of helping companies make better-informed decisions regarding insurance liabilities, assets, capital management, performance measurement, growth, and risk. We have extensive industry and professional experience in insurance and banking.

Work with our practice leaders and professional consultants as a team to solve complex business problems and deliver high quality solutions to our clients on areas including but not limited to:

-Financial reporting

-Solvency II / Economic Capital

-IFRS 17

-Embedded value

-Actuarial modeling

-Product pricing

-Risk management

-Actuarial audit

Qualifications:

• Final year students with a graduation conferral date between June 2026 and Aug 2026

• Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data science, Risk management, Quantitative Finance and other relevant programs

• Ability to learn, apply, and communicate technical concepts and ideas

• Commitment to obtaining the professional qualification of an internationally recognized actuarial organization (e.g. Society of Actuaries) and good progress in the actuarial examination would be advantageous

• Excellent analytical skill with high commitment to quality client service

• Excellent consultation and communication skills, self-initiation, good team player and willingness to work under pressure

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, good documentation and presentation skills.
